Photography seems to run in my family, but I really got interested in
portrait photography a few years ago when I started taking the lobby
portraits for
Albany Civic Theater.
I've also studied portrait photography
with Peggy Iileen Johnson,
and now I'm taking the next step: starting my own photography studio.
There are lots of photographers in the Albany-Corvallis area. The best way to evaluate a photographer is by what you get, and what you pay. My goal is to offer affordable prices for high-quality portraits that show your personality, and to work with you to get the photos you really want.
This is my high school senior portrait, from 1988. Senior portraits have
certainly changed since then. This one was shot in a studio, by a
photographer who was competent enough but didn't really take the time to
make my pictures special. Perfectly acceptable for a yearbook, but not
particularly memorable.
If you want something better — a photo that shows the real you — you've come to the right place.
